The Startup Tri-Valley Initiative Launches Job Board for Local Startups
Connecting Tri-Valley Startups to Local Talent

LIVERMORE, CA – December 14, 2021 – Employers in the Tri-Valley region struggle with the same challenges experienced nationwide when it comes to hiring. However, science-based startups face unique problems hiring compared to larger companies due to their small size, specific skill sets required, and lack of name recognition relative to larger employers. While the Tri-Valley is home to many scientists, engineers, and business professionals, many do not know of these career opportunities in their backyard.  Startup Tri-Valley has launched a job board, https://jobs.startuptrivalley.org/ to help local startups overcome some of these challenges by publicizing their positions to local talent.

“Our goal is to help local talent find local startups and vice versa,” says Brandon Cardwell, Executive Director of Startup Tri-Valley. “Thanks to our city partners, we are able to run paid social media campaigns targeting high potential candidates. Once jobs are posted on our job board, we promote them through our social channels like our Startup Tri-Valley LinkedIn page (https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/74312282/) and other outlets. “

Startups hiring in the area are appreciative, as staffing is critical to their growth and success.

Companies currently posting positions include Amber Solutions, Inc.,Monarch Tractor, Movano, S2 Genomics, and Vector Atomic, Inc.  A wide variety of positions are open including internships, technician, engineering and marketing positions.

Startups interested in posting a job should visit the Startup Tri-Valley website jobs page (https://jobs.startuptrivalley.org/, go to employers and follow the instructions (https://jobs.startuptrivalley.org/employer-videos) on how to create an employer account and post a job. Or, email jobs@startuptrivalley.org to get help posting open positions.
