About the Event:
We begin with networking. Lunch will be served and enjoyed while the program begins. This includes a keynote address by Suncoast Ventures founder and general partner, Genevieve LeMarchal, who led the expanded Series A investment in Raydiant Oximetry.

Genevieve LeMarchal
General Partner at Suncoast Ventures
Genevieve LeMarchal is the Managing Partner of Suncoast Ventures which backs resilient early stage healthcare tech, digital health and medical device founders. Prior to Suncoast she launched and ran Expert Dojo’s healthcare program and ran 3 full cohorts of health tech and medtech companies, becoming one of the most prolific early stage vc investors in Southern California (Crunchbase, 2022) and winner of the 2022 Biocom Lifescience Catalyst Award. She is passionate about entrepreneurs, and advising an mentoring founders. She loves to innovate financial models and find better ways to structure and fund companies and do deals.
She previously served as Partner at a science focused advisory and fund in formation, was a General Partner at a small Oregon-based VC Fund, and she is co-founder of the Pacific NW based non-profit organization, XXcelerate. She is the host of the AdVentureous Podcast and often writes and delivers talks, keynotes and training to entrepreneurs and investors about venture capital and entrepreneurship, impact and equity investing and more.
She is a Pacific Northwest native and a new resident to the East Bay area and now resides in Walnut Creek.

In 2019, Linda co-founded Avestria Ventures to invest in early-stage women’s health and female-led life science ventures. Previously, as a partner at LMN Ventures, Linda invested in early-stage health and wellness companies.
Whether as an institutional investor, a corporate M&A executive, a hedge fund analyst or a private venture investor, Linda has invested in public and private life science companies most of her career. As a member of private investment partnerships, including Tudor Investments and Essex Investment Management, she invested over $3.2 billion of equity capital, including $1.1 billion of performance-based hedge funds. She also built profitable equity research franchises in healthcare services at both Banc of America Securities and Pacific Growth Equities, successfully raising over $1.8 billion of capital for public companies.
Avestria invests in life science companies that have products or services which address unmet needs, improve healthcare quality and/or access, maintain or lower costs, and induce clinical or behavioral change.
